Quarter life rings are placed between crossing transparent plexiglass panels. The life rings appear complete in the reflections, when observed from certain angles, til they disappear again when the audience changes their position. The work addresses the concepts of vulnerability of life, the thin line between existence and non-existence, destruction and completion.
