Through the Water, 2016
MDF, mirrors, water

The work was created for Yoko Ono's Water Event.

She invited artists to participate in her Water Event, an artwork Yoko created with John Lennon in 1971 at the Everson Museum in Syracuse, NY. My contribution was exhibited from 8 March 2016 to 15 July 2016 at the Lyon Museum of Contemporary Art, during the first Yoko Ono retrospective in France. The show was curated by Jon Hendricks and Thierry Raspail. To contribute to this "water sculpture" meant to submit a water container, or the idea of one, which would form half of the sculpture, Yoko supplying water, the other half.

I participated in the project with a 1m3 black container, all covered by mirrors on the inside.
